How to implement NLB for DokuWiki?

Hello everyone,
I want to deploy DokuWiki on IIS 8.5 (Windows Server 2012R2) in NLB configuration. Tell me, how best to organize the storage of the DokuWiki "database" so that there are no problems like splitbrain?
In total, I have two options:
1. Two servers with the same configured site + UNC path with the files of the fight, where both servers will have access;
2. Two standalone servers with directory synchronization with site data (DFSR).
