Why did the db-9 serial port stop responding to the keyboard?
When connecting to any device via db-9 on windows 7, I receive data from the device, at the same time the device does not respond to the keyboard in any way.
Turned on local echo, it is clear that the keyboard is working. I closed contacts 2 and 3 with an LED - there is a signal.
Of the programs, putty, xShell and even hyperterminal were tried.
I understand that the problem is most likely at the program level, but I did not find a solution.

Excuse me, but why would this COM port have to respond to the keyboard? You are clearly not saying something, for example, that you are trying to work through a terminal with a COM port.
