Why did the computer start up the second time?
Good afternoon. The system unit stood on the windowsill for a couple of days, where, of course, the temperature was significantly lower than in the room. After that, the computer began to start from the second time. That is, there is an attempt to turn on, a failure, then immediately retry with access to the BIOS. This does not always happen, in about 70% of cases. The only thing that comes to my mind is the freezing of grease in coolers. What other options are there and how to pinpoint the problem?

Looks like a BIOS issue. First - change its battery to a new one. If this does not help, try updating the BIOS to the latest one, there is nothing difficult here - go to the motherboard manufacturer's website, find your model there, and somewhere there will be a link to the BIOS. Most likely it will be a program that you download, run and it will do everything itself.
If you have an HDD instead of an SSD, then you need to know that they do not like the cold. The temperature on the windowsill is not so low that something freezes there. BUT. In a couple of days, the metal parts cooled down and narrowed by themselves, and heated up when turned on, which could lead to the formation of condensate (water) in the contacts, which could lead to oxidation. And there it is left to guess.

how exactly to determine the problem?
