Why did home Wi-Fi disappear in Windows 8.1 Enterprise?

The problem is rather strange. On a laptop with Windows 8.1 Enterprise, home Wi-Fi stopped showing in the Wi-Fi network settings, and all other neighboring networks are there. Reinstalling / rolling back / "updating" / disabling the driver did not help. Rebooting the system, deleting the Wi-Fi profile too. Moreover, there is an update for it in Windows Update, but when you try to install it, the entire system crashes. With a Wi-Fi router, everything seems to be in order, it is normally caught on other devices. Router rebooted. The system was installed instead of Windows 7 Ultimate. Both x86. Notebook Compaq Presario CQ61. Qualcomm Atheros AR5007 802.11b/g Wi-Fi Adapter. Router D-Link Dir-300. I suspect that the new driver for the adapter does not fit into the system, and without it it does not work correctly.

It's most likely an interference issue.
Change the channel (channel) of the access point in the router settings to 4 or 9, for example, they are usually the least loaded.
