Why can the touchpad sometimes ignore clicks on a new laptop?
Hello! I have a new laptop, and the touchpad on it behaves in an interesting way: usually everything works well, the cursor moves, the buttons transmit a signal. But sometimes the cursor completely stops responding to LMB clicks and double clicks on the touchpad. It's just like the signal isn't coming through. Tell me, please, is there any hope that the matter is in the drivers, and not in the hardware? Thanks in advance!
Ps: also sometimes when touching the touchpad, the cursor starts to randomly rush around the screen, but since yesterday it didn't do that anymore. There will be relapses, I will inform you immediately.

There is a suggestion to update the driver for the touch.
If it does not help, use it for a week and if the problem does not disappear by itself, then carry it back to the store.
The warranty does not cover the software so that you can experiment here, but it’s better not to poke your hands under the cover.
Perhaps the contact on the cable of the wheelbarrow is lost. But we won't know about it.
