Why can't Ubuntu Server be installed on a Vmware Workstation 16 Pro virtual machine?

Good afternoon colleagues. I have an Asus computer. It has Vmware Workstation 16 Pro installed. Downloaded from the official Russian site Ubuntu Server 18.04 and 20.04 for further use. It seems that I am doing everything right, but at the end I get this error:

The decision turned out to be clear after an agonizing 2 days. I searched the Internet and found several materials about this. It turns out that when my computer is connected to the network, that is, the iso file is connected to the Internet, it does not install until I disconnect the computer from the Internet. After turning off the Internet, the virtual machine was normally installed. Everything works as it should. By the way, after installation, do not forget to turn on the Internet in your computer.
