Why can't pickit v3 see the PIC16F886 chip?

There is a PICKIT v3 programmer and a PIC16F886
microchip

The microchip is inserted into the carriage in this way:

The program itself sees the programmer, it is circled in green, but does not see the microchip

Also in the Device Family item, I selected Midrange-> Standard Devices as described in the documentation.

The problem can be either in the configuration of the jumpers on the board with the carriage, or in the fact that the board is incompatible with this chip.
Since the board with the carriage is just an adapter with a hint of versatility, you can pick up a tester and make sure that the programmer is connected to the chip correctly or not.
And also, since your microcontroller is powered by a programmer, it would probably be nice to check the VDD PICkt 3, I suppose. Well, specify the correct supply voltage of the chip, of course.
