Why can't I see the machine on VirtualBox from the network?

There was a problem. Created a virtual machine on VirtualBox, installed Debian 7 on it. Set up the network.
The virtual machine is visible from the local network, the virtual machine also sees everyone.
Today the virtual machine stopped responding from the network, the network is available from the virtual machine itself. From the physical machine where VirtualBox is installed - the virtual machine also responds.
What could be the problem?
