Why can't I connect to PC via laptop?
Hello connoisseurs. Connected to a laptop in my home LAN via MS login. Back to the PC files I can not connect, although they are visible. Permission with extended options added for reading and editing.
Answer the question
In order to leave comments, you need to log in
local network via MS loginCreate local accounts on computers.
You must have a private (not public) network on both devices,
then create a user with the same name and password on both devices, in the local group policies, you can later prevent this account from logging in locally so that it does not glow on the welcome screen
Network access rights to the folder set it for this account, also do not forget to give rights (to read and write - if necessary) on the files and folders to this account on the security tab.
When entering the folder, enter the username and password for this account and click remember
. If it does not ask for a username and password, but swears at the lack of access, then go to the control panel - user management - Windows credential management and add credentials
You need to register the name of the PC (remote), login and password
On the second PC, do the same
reboot, with a 95% chance everything will start, if it doesn’t start, see the network sharing settings
