Why can't all svg files be displayed on html5 canvas?

I'm making a game in html5 for mobile devices. For scaling, I decided to use svg-images, I found a couple of pictures on the net - they are displayed. I ordered my own - they are not drawn, no error is given, I can not find information on the Internet, they are only compared as opposite technologies. But since I have some displayed, it means they can work there!
Help me please.

In SVG, at a minimum, you need to merge the shapes into one.
