Why can a breakpoint only work on the first line of the script, and freeze on the rest?

All the best! Please help me with the problem. Deployed the environment with Laradock, set up Xdebug and PHPStorm, but the breakpoint only hits on the first line of the incoming script. When I try to move further or set a breakpoint on another line, the script hangs. Without breakpoints, the script is completely executed. The main system is Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS. What could be causing this problem?

Problem solved. The reason is incompatibility between Xdebug 2.7.x and PHPStorm below 2018.3.x
