Why BSOD after moving the system to another physical drive?

I am transferring the system from HDD to SSD (win server2008r2).
Cloned the disk via Acronis true image (HHD -> SSD) connected ssd and got "select proper boot device" error. I've tried everything in the BIOS settings, but it didn't help. I installed the old HDD back and when I boot I get a BSOD, even when booting from a safe mod. How could this happen? I did not change anything to HHD. Tell me what could go wrong with the HDD?

because it was necessary that the system that started from the old hard saw the new hard and installed the driver.
after that you can clone
and so the system sees the hard, but there is no firewood for it

Very similar to the wrong change of Controller mode from / to AHCI.

although only the question "who is to blame" was asked, there is a simple answer to the question "what to do": booting from any related disk (at least Win7) with subsequent repair helped me, see also MS KB927392; and Windows really likes to quietly stir up with the bootloader, it's in the DNA, in my opinion
