Why bios does not see ssd?
I bought an ssd in my computer on socket 775, crucail bx500 for 240 gigs, since the hard one died.
At startup, the BIOS does not see the disk, but when I tried to install hubuntu from a USB flash drive, everything was installed, that is, the system sees it. I transferred it to another computer and laptop (they are already newer) - the system boots and works.
I reset the BIOS settings, changed the operating modes of the controller - in vain. I also poked the connectors and changed the sata cables.
The only thing is that regardless of the BIOS settings, sometimes at startup it still detects it, but still does not start it.
