Why are there no normal guidelines for android?

Hello! I have such a question, I have always developed applications for ios, but the customer asked me to develop an android version as well. But I ran into such a problem that for iPhones there are tab bar sizes, bar status, navigation, content, indents, and so on. That is, a normal full-fledged guideline. And for the galaxy, I don’t see this at all, on the official website of the Samsung, they don’t write the sizes of these areas, they just schematically show where everything is. Maybe you can tell me a normal guideline for Samsung (Galaxy s9), taking into account all sizes, thanks!

For all androids, you need to smoke the Material design guidelines https://material.io/design/guidelines-overview/, which are murkier than Apple ones, but you can download the layout with the main elements somewhere here https://material.io/resources/ .
