Why are there no Media files in the Network section in Google Chrome Developer Tools?

Tell me why sometimes when listening to an audio recording in VK, the file of this track appears in the Media files in the Network section in the Google Chrome developer tools, and sometimes not. What does it depend on? From browser settings? Memory?
