Why are the settings disabled in the BIOS?
I needed to run Victoria from DOS. I boot from a USB flash drive - the program gives an error, does not see the disk (the disk is working, from under Windows in API mode it sees it). But you cannot switch to IDE mode, there is no such setting in the BIOS. It just doesn't. However, I remember that it used to be. And now other settings are inactive, the same secure boot for example. Also, in UEFI mode, it does not allow you to select a boot device (I accidentally found out while picking the settings). What is it, problems with the firmware? It has never been updated. Acer Extensa 2519 laptop, bios version insyde corp. V1.23, 03/29/2017
