Why are the prices for VMs in AWS and GC several times higher than for a dedicated server?

Why is the price of resources in virtual machines on Amazon and Google Cloud many times higher than the resources of a hetzner or ovh dedicated server?
What are the reasons?

For example:
vm 4с 16ram - google has $100
8c 32ram dedicated server on OVH - $50
turns out that google is 4 times more expensive...

Because in the clouds you get everything in one place, in addition, the ability to scale is also expensive. So you have a choice either to bother yourself and spend money on specialists or take a decision but a little more expensive

Anton V. , you compare prices incorrectly.
You will pay a fixed amount for the server, regardless of the load on it.
And you forgot to add to the price for the server at least the cost of a system administrator who will maintain the OS and other software on it, make backups, monitor the normal operation of hardware, etc.
In the cloud, you can:
1. Change the size of machines, seeing that they are not loaded, reducing their cost.
2. Transfer some functionality from virtual machines to PaaS \\ SaaS services with a lower cost, and at the same time save on OS maintenance in the VM.
3. Generally turn off machines when they are not needed and do not pay for them at all (except for a small fee for data storage)
4. Automatic backups / patching.
etc.
