How to convince technical support to open ports to the Router?
Good evening. I always had a GPON Terminal at my house, I had access to it locally and the provider also had access remotely and no one else. Now the provider has updated all the firmware or some settings and I can’t connect to my GPON Terminal at all. You need to call the provider and ask to open a port for example http 80 and they ask the reason why I want to open it. I don't even know what to say here, please help. Somehow, it was not usual to always have access to my GPON Terminal, and now this.

they ask the reason why I want to openWell, just say - I need it, but why I need it is none of your fucking business. Only and everything.
There is only one option: ask technical support to switch the terminal to bridge mode and after it install a regular router, with which you can do anything.
Buy a router let it be mikrotik hap ac lite and set it up.
As a rule, routers of providers suck from the tplink series
