Why are not all files displayed over the network?

Who faced the problem of an incomplete number of files on a disk connected to a router?
I explain, there is a Mi R3G router on Padavan firmware, an HDD with a large collection of files is connected to it. So, let's say there are about 800 files in the "Clips" folder. When connecting to the disk via smb, whether from a phone or from a computer, about 350 files will be displayed in the same "Clips" folder. !BUT, if you connect via ftp (which is not convenient and not necessary in my case), then all files are displayed. And even DLNA forwards all 800+ files.

Prompt, with what it can be connected? Can anyone come across? Is it a problem with the router or is it some kind of network characteristic?

PS. Do not offer a solution to leave 300-350 files in folders, because - YES, it helps. But I think it shouldn't be like this...

Incorrect encoding in the samba settings and some characters (probably Russian names) are not displayed.
