Why are my headphones not working on my Dell Inspiron 5000 series laptop?
There is a Dell Inspiron 5 series laptop, it costs windows 8. When headphones are connected, the sound works only on the speakers, I tried to plug in different headphones - none of them work. Tried going into device manager, uninstalling the sound device, and then clicking "refresh configuration" - didn't help. How to solve this problem? Whether it can be connected with iron?

1. Are all drivers for sound devices installed? Try updating all sound drivers.
2. Are you sure that the sound card connectors are in working order? If the drivers did not help, try contacting a technical service to check the sound card.
Most likely the connector is broken. Take it to the service, let them look.
