Why does Airpods lag audio on youtube?

I connect Airpods to a Lenovo laptop with bluetooth 5.0, the sound starts to lag on any Youtube video of quality above 720, as if the video from Wi-Fi does not have time to load and the sound lags with constant uploads. At the same time, everything is normally heard from the speakers or in wired headphones on 4k vidos.
Maximum performance set, headphones selected by default, spatial sound does not help, what else can I try?
