Why are hotkeys not working in phpstorm?

Hello. Recently I just installed phpstorm, installed it, I understand it, I like it so far.
Only here the problem is that commands like: "cntrl + z (undo changes), cntrl + o (open file) and so on"
do not work at all. Regular commands do not work at all. This is fine?

everything works there. go to settings and play around with layouts/hotkeys.
settings -> keymap
