Why are hdd and ssd not showing up in boot in bios?
Hello!
Installed win 10 on asus n751jk, ssd connected via sata.
The system started to run much slower than win 8.1, which was earlier, so I decided to return it.
I downloaded the win 8.1 image from the Microsoft website, mounted it on a USB flash drive using Rufus, there is a license.
I chose to start from a USB flash drive in the BIOS, installed the
partitions on the ssd system and were destroyed, the installer re-marked
it at the end, the installer notified about the need to reboot, the computer rebooted and started again from the USB flash drive, the installation started again,
turned it off, went into the BIOS, and in the menu boot, except for a flash drive, you can’t select anything, add something too (there is no add new boot option line)
at the same time, the bios sees the ssd in the item with the sata parameters
, when you turn off fast boot, secure boot and start csm from the devices, only the drive is displayed.
What should I do? How to boot from ssd?

I deleted the partitions again, pulled everything out of the computer, except for the installation flash drive and ssd (even the drive)
and the installation was successful, the computer started up on win 8.1
, probably, the installation did not complete for some reason and the boot partition was not created
why, I don’t understand
