Why are all the folders on the hard drive not visible?
Through an adapter I connect a SATA disk from a desktop PC to a laptop. The drive is detected, but all of its contents are not displayed. Some of the folders don't seem to exist. And yet there is no access to all folders, only to some. I didn't find a solution on google.

Well, you would describe in full the algorithm of actions that you perform, and specify the conditions.
In general, it would be ideal to boot into Linux, look at all partitions with gdisk / fdisk, mount them with handles and look for your files - if they are, they are. If they don't exist, then they don't exist. Everything else is the intrigues of the OS, IMHO.
Alternatively, these folders have the "hidden" attribute set, ie. are hidden in the normal (default) view mode in File Explorer.
Use normal file managers like FAR. The rights will not give, but will show everything that is.
