Who will say anything about Comodo antivirus?
The fact is that I myself am a Linuxoid and the problems of viruses do not concern me, but as usual there are: friends, relatives ... fix it, look ...
Messing with the search for keys that will be banned in a week and again whining, tears - no desire.
I came across Comodo Internet Security, like free and firewall and antivirus and anti-spy and something else anti. I don’t want to put a cat in a poke in a blind place, suddenly full of holes like a colander?
In general, tell me your opinion, who tried it. Thanks in advance.

I started using the Comodo firewall in conjunction with Symantec Corparate Edition antivirus a long time ago. Later, Symantec Endpoint Protection appeared, which has its own firewall, but I used the Comodo firewall. Now I have completely switched to Comodo Interent Securiry, the antivirus, which is quite sane, does not let the infection pass and does not give itself offense. When combining firewall + proactive + antivirus in Comodo Interent Securiry, we get good protection and control.

The task is to secure the computer of “ordinary mortals” as much as possible with a minimum of effort (they will still get into porn, etc.), but at least as much as possible.
For antiviruses, look at the latest virusinfo test (statistics on the infection caught from users, according to virustotal). Slightly newer information in this thread on their forum .
In my opinion, the antivirus there is of average scall. I didn’t use it myself, but I paid attention to it several times when checking a file on virustotal (if you are a Linux user, then perhaps you need to explain: virustotal is a service for checking files by several dozen antiviruses).
Of the free ones, they usually use Avast, Avira and, possibly, Panda.
does that mean it shouldn't be used? on the network they say it seems like he has a good firewall?
ps: thanks for the link, I did not know about such a service.
My antivirus slows down Windows, I do without it ... I
haven’t had viruses for several years (sometimes I check with Casper, and it’s cool).
True, I accidentally found a rootkit in the form of a driver (xs how it was installed), but antiviruses did not recognize it at that time.
In addition to the antivirus, read this document Gubarevich_Peter___Windows_XP_and_Server_2003_Installation_Protocol_v1.2__Russian_.pdf, this is about the correct system configuration, because when working with administrator rights, the antivirus will not protect against the winlocker.
Microsoft Security Essentials: www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ - I have no complaints so far. So there is also a successful experience of using products such as AVG Free - also excellent, Dr.WEB (does not meet the criteria).
There is a negative experience of using Avira, Kaspersky, Avast.
