Who uses SSD disks in Proxmox virtual machines, how and with what parameters?
Hello!
I have a Proxmox virtualization environment (the same debian).
Disk intel 540s 480GB given to the virtual machine directly i.e. "virtio0: /dev/sdb"
Lately I've encountered a problem with the ssd drive in the virtual system. Backups have ceased to be made, those. crash with a read error. All checks by means of the "virtual" windows system pass without errors, checking the disk by the host system - without errors, taking out the disk - also normal.
I thought already to demolish the Windows partitions and make ext4 and put a virtual disk file on it. But again, I want to understand with what parameters to do this. And I still want to figure out how to properly give the ssd disk to Proxmox directly.
Share advice on who and how works with ssd drives under linux and Proxmox. What options are used to mount disks and what file systems do you use on them?
I will be glad to all information.
Thank you.
