Should I upgrade to Raspbian(Debian) 11?

Model	Operating OS	Planned OS
raspberry pi zero w	Raspberry OS 10 with screen and set of recommended packages	Raspberry OS 11 lite
Raspberry pi 4b 1Gb	too	Raspberry OS 11 lite or with screen

Raspberry pi zero runs 24/7 smart home scripts in python 3.7 and a motion detector written in c++ using open CV.

In this regard, the questions are:
Is it worth switching to debian 11 (linux kernel 5.10) from debian 10 (linux kernel 4.19) ? Does it take up more disk space?
Are there any nuances related to WiFi, camera, overclocking and performance? What about backwards compatibility?
