Who orders marketing research?
Hello!
Some time ago I worked in a company that conducted desk marketing research. Those. simple market/niche/competitor analyzes, etc. by analyzing information from sources on the Internet. (there were different clients, they analyzed both the sugar market, and the spare parts market, sports nutrition, furniture, etc., and the clients were always satisfied - the result was for a reasonable price)
Now the company has ceased operations, there are no more customers!
The experience is still there and the team can be assembled again, but there are just a few questions!
The problem of the company I worked for, in my opinion, was that they defined their target audience as those who know what marketing research (MI) is and who needs it. The audience is quite small and mostly these are large companies that need complex research with focus groups and so on. That is, something that at that moment we simply could not implement.
If you start now, how exactly can you define your target audience, how to find non-obvious clients who also need MI, but they are looking for some other service (what one).
And what channels to attract customers to use? (used: POISON, Google adwords and the "professionals" network).
That is, who are our customers and how to attract them? Desk marketing research.
Thank you!

Good afternoon!
And how do you feel about conducting marketing research for yourself in order to determine your target audience?
Marketing research is relevant for online stores, for example. Now the competition is great, and the e-commerce market is decreasing, so it will not work to get into it without testing the ground. You can search on freelance exchanges for customers of online stores and offer them services
