Who held the cisco 861 security router in their hands?

Kind.

I left working with network equipment and began to understand that knowledge of working with cisco equipment is being forgotten. I decided to take myself home instead of the old TPlink Cisco 861 security router (it’s lying around idle with friends, they give it to use)
Who held it in their hands, worked with this device, I would like to get adequate feedback ...

I’m just still deciding what to take mikrotik or cisco - both are more to maintain the level of knowledge, experiments, etc. etc. (wife will swear, but what to do :) )

thanks for the info, plus karma is provided)

Well, what can I say - the simplest model of cats with ethernet on the wan interface. Knows little. If you want to delve into real cats, it’s better to take 881. Mikrotiki didn’t have any personal business, but the reviews seem to be good. If you need a device for your home (and not for studying technology), it's probably better to take a Mikrotik (cheaper, more productive). If you want to study Cisco, you can first practice on GNS3.

By the way, I’ll add on my own that there is still a VLAN on it, VLAN1, as mentioned above, and you can create ONE more VLAN. It supports type 2 VLANs.
