Another thing is that Google does not have a point of presence in Moscow and the ping grows depending on the provider by 15-50ms.
Pictures, css and zhs are compressed and cached on Google servers.
You can set up a bunch of filters in the pagespeed module
No statistics - the number of requests per hour and a list of 40x/50x errors
. You can disable caching/optimization for any path.
You can ban requests based on the list of IPs and user agents.
You can bind your ssl certificate.
If you are too lazy to reap pictures and optimize js, then the site can become much easier.
Subjectively, after all the optimizations, it opens faster, but for sites in Russia, an increase in ping may "compensate" for this.
