Who falls under the law 152-fz?

Hello!
I registered in a service that helps in website promotion, entered information about the organization, but for some reason I don’t want to use this service.
Account deletion is not provided, and support answers:

Alexey, our organization is not subject to 152-FZ, because is not an operator and does not process personal data of customers. No actions with personal data specified in paragraph 3 of Art. 3 152-FZ is not produced by us. The client independently enters his personal data into the system.

Of course, I'm not critical, but still, how right are they?
Thanks for the answer.

what exactly is included there? If nothing but a full name, then they are right. If something else - according to the situation.

As I understand it, when registering, you entered the organization's data, and not your own. If so, then the service you signed up for really does not fall under the 152-FZ, because. this law regulates the personal data of natural persons only.

It's funny. They write: "The client independently enters his personal data into the system.", i.e. recognize the presence of personal data of the client, and, therefore, they themselves consider themselves to be operators of personal data (storage).
They carved themselves.
