Who clicks in emails other than the user?

Hello,
Applications were required from our clients who are ready to connect to certain functionality. We made a newsletter, it had one button "I want to connect." The link leads to our api, it contains the query parameter ?confirmEmail=[email]
And the usual html "thank you, we'll contact you" is displayed.
Pretty standard situation. The api only records this email and the confirmation date.
After the mailing, in addition to the emails to which the mailing was sent, some wild emails began to be written, for example,
[email protected]
[email protected]

That is, some kind of leftist (did not find dbz and pbz, what the hell). Also, in addition to this, some adequate emails were not available. (upload was done from our database, but some emails, obviously, are no longer answered). At the same time, they seemed to receive an application.

Help, please, I have not come across mailings before, who can automatically click on links from a letter and what to do about it?

@firedragon

Either the search engine suffers from garbage, or your customers have a virus. As an option, add a hash from the client's letter and cut off all those whose hash does not match the mail on api
