Who can go to work after a programmer?

Good evening. I got into a very unpleasant life situation, I have been racking my brain for several weeks, I need your advice.
I am 27 years old, incomplete higher education (5 courses) in applied computer science, now I work as a backend programmer. A few weeks ago I visited an ophthalmologist, he said that if I continue to sit at the PC for 10-15 hours a day, I will go blind in 5 years, my vision drops at a rate of one diopter per year, so the question arose of changing my specialty. I don’t know how to program anything, and most professions are now connected with sitting at a PC, physical activity is contraindicated. I tried to work through software for the blind - this requires at least several years of training, I don’t have them.
The only thing that came to mind is IT HR, if there are people here who understand this, please tell us if there are any chances to enter this area and how much such specialists are in demand.
If you have any other options, please write, I will consider everything.

Go to a couple of ophthalmologists to confirm the diagnosis.
Every year, check your eyesight on the same device, save receipts.
When reaching the "bottom" (3 years without changes in checks), make a correction.
Don't quit what you love

And why do you need to sit for 10-15 hours, with an hourly payment, 4 hours is enough for life. If you want to restore vision, change the mode. Change the food structure. 2 days a week without a PC at all, better in nature. Move out of town, exhaust gases harm the eyes, there is nothing to say about the poisoning of the body. Light physical activity in a mode without fanaticism. The human body is an amazing thing that has the function of self-healing, you just don’t need to kill it every day.

The first thing you need: is to understand the cause of the fall in vision, going to 4-5 doctors and being treated.
And if only the treatment does not help - think further.
Programmer - can develop and optimize any processes, find non-standard solutions, plan development in any industry.

Have you tried this stuff? Really stops retinal burning.

Take breaks, during breaks you can warm up for the eyes:
ru.eyeleo.com (program)
stamina.ru/eyes.htm (recommendations) Reduce
15 hours at the computer to 8. Do not sit at the computer on weekends generally.

some nonsense, firstly, buy a good monitor with a resolution of 4k, buy computer glasses, there are excellent ones on Amazon, your eyes really get tired less.
Stop sitting at the computer for 15 hours, the work schedule is ideally composed of two sets of 3 hours each with a break in the middle.

I had a situation when I worked at a shitty job and there was constant wild stress. Already after 3 months, everything that was 3-4 meters before my eyes blurred. The diagnosis was given such that nervous. He quit his job, after six months his vision began to recover, gradually returned to normal.
In general, technical director, team lead, implementation specialist, and so on. More negotiations, less computer work.

1. There are also blind programmers. And good ones too. Modern blind reading technologies (programs that read) are pretty good.
2. IT HR means the same whole day at the computer.
5. There are special operations to prevent vision loss, such as scleroplasty or laser photocoagulation.

With good knowledge of English, you can go to work on a cruise ship, unless of course there is little to keep you here) and work and relax! Every day the sea and the sun. True, this is also an amateur) and temporarily. And there you look, you can go back to IT)

1. And why is the vision then falling? I can assume that you are sitting in glasses or lenses that you were prescribed in front of the computer. Only the recipe was given to you when you looked at the wall 5 meters away from you. And you look at the monitor 50 cm away from you, or even closer. You can’t do this for reading close up, you need other glasses / lenses with lower diopters.
2. Conducted a study with a dilated pupil? Is there an accommodation spasm?

Do you happen to sit with a tablet / phone before bed / after sleep?
Once I took such a habit - to go to bed with a tablet, wake up with it ... and after a few days I noticed how my eyes began to get tired in the evening. I immediately gave up this habit.

you can do tutoring, learning programming. or in a magistracy and teach at the university (there, it seems, not everyone is familiar with computers).
