We would like to survey experienced users of devices in the category "Internet of Things" and specifically Connected Home - ask them a couple of questions about what they like and dislike about using their gadgets. Please respond in the comments or advise experienced users of such systems.

The experience can be described in one phrase - the user should not notice that the house is somehow special. Everything should work seamlessly. Human intervention should be minimal and at the level of "turned on / off the light", and the system should adapt to the daily, weekly cycle.

I would not allow the "Internet of things" to the smart home. Let the hackers turn the kettle on/off for me, but don't turn my heating on ))
