Which Window Manager to use for games?

I used to use xwfm but found that when I started openbox games started running 20fps faster. and which wm to use so that it is not inferior in functionality, lightness to xfwm and does not reduce fps in games?

As far as I know, openbox is the most lightweight, and functionality and lightweight are incompatible concepts. Although the functionality of openbox was enough for me.
