wifi not working in ubuntu, what to do?
Hello!
In general, the situation is this ... I decided to go to a cafe with a laptop to sit - I turned off the laptop, took it with me, went to eat pizza in a cafe. Arriving at the cafe, pulled out a laptop, turned it on - I see, there is not a single wifi network. As I thought that the driver had not flown off my ubuntu 16.04 ... when I got home, I did updates-upgrades, but nothing changed. “Well, okay,” I thought, and decided to demolish 16 and put 14, since there is still support for the AMD driver, but that’s not the point, the bottom line is that during installation I connected to the waffle, everything is OK, but after installing the OS the problem remains - again it does not see the network (before everything worked without problems - I saw all the networks, connected). I did this several times, the result is the same as when installing everything is OK, but after entering the “brick” system. Help, I don't know what to do!
(HP Pavilion dv-6 laptop if it makes sense)
