Virtualization
Kevin, 2015-11-29 00:19:58

Which virtualization technology is better to choose for the minimum cost of resources?

There is an application that starts and functions properly only if it was launched once on the system. The goal is to run this application as many times as possible on the same machine.
Perhaps there are some more economical options than virtualization, I will be happy with them in this case :)
Well, if you look in the direction of virtualization, then you need to choose a technology that wakes up to eat a minimum of resources (Of course, choose an OS for it from the minimal category) and run virtualok with this application. That is, the degree of isolation is not the main criterion, but "compactness" and low resource consumption.
Thanks for any advice.

@Klanc

Docker is obviously your case.
Why do you need Docker?
