Which virtual machine is the most productive?

In addition to asking which one is the fastest, how can you measure its performance? To measure the running time of a certain code, I can’t think of other ideas. Or is it not correct and impossible to talk about performance, but why? For example, there is VMware, and there is hyperV - but these are completely different solutions, how can they be compared?

there is no point in talking about this since paravirtualization is a thing of the last century and they all use processor virtualization, and on the same processor it is the same.
