Which USB flash to choose for 24x7 work?
There is a home nettop with linux on board. The system is installed on raid1 of two flash drives. The problem is that they die with a frequency of about once a year. I can not estimate the load, but it is not very large. Active logs/database moved to hdd. I use flash drives because there is only one compartment for a disk, I can’t make a mirror on the hdd.
The volume is from 16Gb, but more is not very necessary. Usb 3.0 is desirable, but not essential.
Already tried:
Kingston DataTraveler SE9 8GB usb2 (or completely similar 3-4 years ago, I don’t remember the exact model) - they lived for quite a long time, about a year.
SanDisk Cruzer Fit 16Gb usb2 - die very quickly (only 4 flash drives changed in a year) +
Silicon Power Marvel M01 get very hot16Gb usb3 - live for a year and a half, one recently completely flew out, the second one started to fail almost immediately after that, I think it will last no more than a couple of weeks. They are heated less than the others (somewhere around 40-45 degrees), thanks to the large metal case.
As an option, I consider cheap ssds of the minimum volume from somewhere in China. But trust in them is not enough, flash drives can be changed / handed over at least under warranty. In Russia, disks <=32Gb are somehow not very dense.
Please advise usb flash for 24x7 operation who has real experience with specific models.

The meaning of using flash drives is not entirely clear. Why can't use USB HDD?
