Which university to apply for a degree in robotics?

Hello.
I consider all domestic universities, primarily MSTU. named after Bauman, but I can not decide on the department. I would like to study the entire design process from scratch to the finished product in practice. Thanks for any advice!

One specialty, where everything from and to does not work. Just from the consideration that robotics includes three huge areas at once: medium mechanical engineering (hardware in the truest sense of the word), precision engineering (instrument engineering, radio engineering and electronics) and programming. And in the same way, divisions are already divided at the workplace, and it doesn’t matter whether it is a private trader or a state office. It is impossible to cover all three purely physical ones in 5-6 years of study, there will definitely be gaps. And here the question is - gaps everywhere and a startup manager at the exit or an engineer-inventor. This is your own business. Of course, in all complex specialties, the basics of everything are given so that there is an idea, but there is always a clear strengthening of at least
either in the case-mechanical side, or electronics and programming. You can identify this and the degree of bias by the curriculum and the list of disciplines for the entire course. It is necessary to immediately watch what is more in the program and it will be seen who is being prepared.
And we didn't even raise the profile issue, by the way. Because despite the commonality in terms of system engineering, the profile means a lot. I have repeatedly come across in my main profile (underwater robotics) that a person is a good specialist, but does not understand the environment from the word at all, because he studied in the direction of another industry. But robots can still drive and fly, and some can’t and are at the factory, connected to the network and working 24/7. It all leaves an imprint and a serious one. Does management theory apply to them all? Undoubtedly. But you are talking about practice, and I guarantee that by learning to build torpedoes all your life, your very first project to develop an industrial manipulator or CNC machine will be full of jambs that a graduate of "industrial robotics" learned to bypass in his third year. And it would seem it's all the same right? But no, not one.
Therefore, you will have to choose one thing according to both criteria, and catch up with the rest as a working order or as a hobby. Accordingly, knowing what you want, you can already specifically choose a university. Please, from the list kindly provided by Merovei : Moscow State Technological University "STANKIN" .. something tells me that industrial robots and machine tools in their program are considered much more often, say, UAV control systems, especially in terms of developing software for this case. So call, go to them and find out what exactly they give. Otherwise, the realization of this may come in the third year, when you will finally be told three times who exactly you are being taught.
