Which tablet to choose for programming in java?
There is a desire to buy a tablet for installation and work in the compiler in java (while I'm on the road in the subway).
Questions:
1) What are the minimum requirements for a tablet?
2) on what OS is it worth taking a tablet: windows or android ?.
3) If windows, then what compiler is better to use there?
Thanks

Did you think well? There is no compiler for android. You will have to work in a cloud IDE
. Well, there is another version of a tablet on a full-fledged Windows and there is a standard jdk there. But the prices of such toys are not small - it's easier to buy a used mac book air.
Using Linux Deploy , you can install one of the desktop Linux distributions on most devices. Need ROOT. If the device is on x86, wine will work, and therefore, almost everything that goes under it.
Look towards samsungs, conveniently, productively, productively.
Regarding the android or windows, they wrote to you here already.
But think about it, maybe you'd be better off buying a netbook? After all, typing on the keyboard on real keys is much more productive, efficient and speed increases a lot, it is very convenient when programming and coding. It is not very convenient to work in this direction from a tablet.
You can consider a tablet keyboard (ASUS, Lenovo), which is also quite suitable.
