Which SSL certificate to choose for a mail server?
Good day,
Can you please tell me what type of SSL certificate is better / more correct to choose for a small, non-public mail server serving several domains? Do I need to take a certificate for each of the accepted domains, or can I buy cheaper for a host? Thanks in advance.

a certificate is needed for each domain. will do, and start and comodo. Komodo even has a special certificate specifically for Secure E-mail. Those who do not trust StartSSL would be advised to buy on specialized sites like FirstSSL , ISPsystem , GoGetSSL : there are articles, a detailed description (you can understand how one certificate differs from another) + support that can help with verification, installation (on this stage often and difficulties arise).
In modern realities, a classic Multi-domain certificate is suitable for a mail server with several domains . UCC looks somewhat archaic and not so pleasant in terms of prices.
Try it with free StartSSL , one for each domain. That's how it worked for me.
One fig I will advise startssl - there you can order multi-domain certificates (however, for money - 59 bucks a year for "citizenship" in startssl - and for this they already give an unlimited number of certificates).
