Which solution to choose for a home web server?
There was a desire to build a small web server at home.
Needed for (Apache, php, mysql, node.js, ruby) and here, as I see it, there are 3 ways:
1. Nettops, for example, like shop.lenovo.com/ru/ru/desktops/ideacentre/q-series/ q190 ($11) or www.iru.ru/product/759218 ($9) or www.acer.ru/ac/ru/RU/content/model/DT.SM4ER.001 ($11 . R.) or Mac mini (from 20 kr.)
2. Take a supported laptop beech with a non-working screen. For me, a bad option, because. big, warm.
3. Routers on openwrt, how productive are they? And is it possible to raise the server on similar mini pc ( www.dx.com/ru/p/jesurun-qc802-quad-core-android-4-... ) ?
And in the end, what is the best choice?

Um, isn't it easier to raise a virtual machine on a computer? As I understand it, it's all the same for development, and not for everyday use by everyone on the home network. Virtualbox.org is easy to install and doesn't require a lot of resources.
in reply. maybe a media server then. but you have to look at what it is made of. I remember seeing a bunch of such goodness based on flash drives, iconbit for example.
and what for houses of 1000 hosts that. and 200-300 dollars to pay purely for a web server, it's somehow fat.
