Which server should be specified in the "NS" record when configuring DNS?

Good evening.

Due to the fact that my hoster's server has recently begun to be ddosed frequently, I decided to find a way to keep my site available (not me).

The first thing that came to mind was to upload a copy of the site (a site of 5 static pages) to a completely different hosting and, if the first one is unavailable, redirect traffic to another hosting. I found a free pointhq.com DNS manager with which I can change the "A" record and thereby "take away" visitors to another hosting .
It turns out that now the visitor, calling my domain, receives the addresses of the DNS manager from the domain registrar, and the manager either gives the IP address to the hosting of one or another hoster.

Now the question is which servers do I need to specify in the "NS" recordat pointhq.com? The ones from the domain registrar or the ones from pointhq.com?

On the registrar, indicate the ns on which your zone is registered. And nowhere else but

You are delegated responsibility for the operation of your domain, chosen by you, from the registrar. In this case pointhq.com.
Those at the registrar prescribe dns1.pointhq.com. and so on and wait about a day for delegation. When everything has been delegated, you can already set up dns records on pointhq.com. But to be honest, I didn’t like it, I recommend looking in the direction of dns.he.net
Now, regarding ddos, this, in general, will not save you from ddos. A records in your dns zone can spread up to a day among all dns. Let you have a small timeout there as well. In your case, you need to raise HAproxy as a balancer and so that it would transfer users to different servers in RoundRobin mode. Or use CloudFare.
