Which ORM to choose for php application?

There is a very old web application there is something like a self-written ORM everything is very inconvenient I want to replace it
Please recommend what to choose from the ORM main requirements
lightness
high speed of work
modularity is desirable so that you can cut / disable the excess
If there is somewhere a comparative review of modern ORMs please poke I couldn't move my finger.

Zend Db ORM whether, but modular and proven friend
What do you recommend Activ records or Data Mapping?
