Which of these books is better to study the database?

What is the best book to study database? Connolly or Data? I know that both are very good, comprehensive, deep under 1.5 thousand. pages (considered by many to be the best of their kind). How are they fundamentally different?

I would highly recommend to start according to Gruber, "understanding SQL"
Simple, with good examples - but you just need to take a paper, proofread, a version with a bunch of typos is walking on the net.

Good afternoon, I studied according to Kuznetsov S.D. Model databases and languages. A very adequate book. www.ozon.ru/context/detail/id/3758067

I myself am in the same position, I started reading "Ben Forta - Learn SQL on Your Own in 10 Minutes - 2014" and "Dusan Petkovic - Microsoft SQL Server 2012. Beginner's Guide - 2013"
I hope I'm not reading garbage :)

Maybe not quite on the topic, but if for starters, then you can look in the direction of this one - Learn SQL yourself. 10 minutes per lesson
