What to read on MS SQL Server and t-sql?

The book on drawing up requests on t-sql interests. Plus, the basics of use - how to install the server, initial setup, etc. Administration, database design, and so on - which is not about queries - is not of interest. The textbook about t-sql first of all is necessary.

hands have not yet reached to read, but many acquaintances recommend Itzik Ben-Gan "Microsoft SQL Server 2012. T-SQL Basics", well, everything is right about the site of Mikes, there all examples are analyzed as much as possible, but immediately eyes run wide)

I saw this book yesterday. Confused in 2012. After all, 8 years have passed. There is already a 2019 version. It is clear that the basics remained unchanged, but there may be some important nuances.
Another question is how relevant is MS SQL Server as a technology in general? I am studying the issue of programming under Windows and in the training materials, among other things, there is information about working with MS SQL Server. Is it worth spending time on it at the moment?

This product is still relevant, learn the basics, then catch up with the official documentation.
I'll seem like a snob, but there are 2 databases:
Oracle and MSSQL.
Everything else, well, of course yes, but in some moments OH
