Formally, the most promising, perhaps, is Zend, because it is very close to the developers of the language, but if we evaluate not only the prospects, I would choose symfony (perhaps using some Zend modules)

Do you understand that it is impossible to objectively call this or that framework “more promising”?
Look at comparisons, reviews, history, pay attention to the vastness of the community and the convenience of communicating with it ... In general, what is the question - such is the answer :) appropriate...

I'm facing the same question for project development. Stopped a choice on Yii.

Regarding more or less ordinary sites, the situation is this: if you have everything on the Model-View-Controller, then MVC is also in Africa MVC. So you can take Kohana, this is a very promising and very easy-to-use framework, the minus of which is poor documentation, but this is not a problem either.
For complex projects, use Zend. But do not forget, a framework is not a CMS, and the same Kohan can be rewritten beyond recognition, the framework gives only a general pattern of behavior that you yourself must manage.

I wonder why point after number once (okay, at least two) is not “your version”
eq. You dubbed it, eh :)
