Which multi-server control panels are right for me?

Hello!
I'm looking for a control panel that will be able to put together several of my servers.

I need the following features:

  • Monitoring of basic parameters (CPU, RAM, HDD)
  • Ability to turn on / off / restart the server
  • Monitoring of active processes

It would also be great to see REST API (JSON).
But it is very important that the panel can work on my personal server and preferably Open Source.

You have a wide choice:

  • https://tinycp.com/ (may be abandoned)
  • https://www.aapanel.com/ - their representatives look "obscure"
  • https://vestacp.com/ - they found a lot of holes, and it is not clear if they are closed now
  • https://www.hestiacp.com/ - Vesta CP fork
  • https://webuzo.com/

  • centos-webpanel.com aka https://control-webpanel.com/

As a result, you may want to choose between cPanel and DirectAdmin. These options are considered proven and industry-specific. They are paid, they are developing quite dynamically, and they don’t seem to have any special security problems.
However, cPanel recently changed their payment model, which caused a churn of users. So look towards DirectAdmin, especially if you have a studio. The price for peace of mind there is acceptable.
There are also hosting providers that provide a free license for YES when ordering services from them.
