Where to save configs?

Hello!
Share your experience of saving your configs and subsequent management.
There are several different systems whose configs I would like to save. Who solves the problem? Use Git or something else?
UPD: I'll clarify that I'm more interested in configs for programs on Linux, settings for various network hardware.

For storage, you can also git.
For deployment - shell scripts or ansible.
If there is a sensitive date in the configs, you can do encryption through the master key, then the encrypted data will be in the git, and during deployment it will be deployed on the spot using one small file with the master key.

Use the corporate VCS, if available. Deploy your VCS to your liking if there isn't one. For most network hardware, configs are exported and they can also be used in VCS.
